Okay so I am sending you all Book of Mormons with the RS reading program our ward is doing. It is kinda cool and will end on the week of General Conference...and one week before Easter. I wanted you all to get a chance to do it too. Here's what it entails.
1. It began on Monday---yes Feb 2nd I am such a slacker!! Sorry. But if you don't want to play catch up just start from the beginning or jump in on the day you get it.
2. The schedule is in the back of the book, the instructions in the front.
3. Basically you circle names of Christ, and underline attributes of Christ.
4. Cool part...(not that just reading isn't cool) you write your personal feelings, questions or thoughts in the margins of the book. Kinda like a journal or diary. So far I just have a couple notes. Like "wow I never thought about "not praying for an answer" as being like Laman and Lemuel" Not that that comment or thought is profound or important but it was my thought as I read it.
I can always use a good excuse to read my scriptures, and some kind of schedule helps me. I hope you find it useful too!

Thanks for the BOM! I started it yesterday, and I'm hoping to catch up soon!! You are very sweet to include us, and what a cool thing to do with your RS!
So how is the reading going? Are any of you doing it? I seem to play catch up every other day. But I am enjoying it....
Yeah, I'm doing it, and it's going well. I'm not losing ground each day, but I'm still like 4 days behind, I think because I didn't start until I got it. It's nice to be reading with a purpose....the circling and underlining. It's definitely a different focus, ya know?
